12:14. ପୁଣି ୟୁବ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାନୁସା ରେ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ମାରେ ପିତା ଯେତିକି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଦେଉଥିଲେ ମୁଁ ତା' ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଦବେି। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କୋରଡା ରେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦେଉଥିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତିକ୍ଷ୍ଣ କୋରଡା ରେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦବେି, ଯାହାର ଆଘାତ ବିଛା କାମୁଡିଲା ପରି ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦାୟକ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଘାତ ରେ କ୍ଷତାକ୍ତ ହବେ।"

12:14. and followed the advice of the younger ones. He said, "My father imposed heavy demands on you; I will make them even heavier. My father punished you with ordinary whips; I will punish you with whips that really sting your flesh."

12:14. and followed the counsel of his younger advisers. He told the people, "My father laid heavy burdens on you, but I'm going to make them even heavier! My father beat you with whips, but I will beat you with scorpions!"
